Julia Roberts and George Clooney will team up in a new romantic comedy called
Ticket to Paradise
.
The film, produced for Universal and directed by Ol Parker (who also co-wrote the screenplay), will see the two superstars play a divorced couple who will urgently fly to Bali in order to prevent their daughter from making the same mistake. that they think they did 25 years ago.
According to Deadline, the film is expected to go into production before the end of the year, although the expected release date is unknown at this time.
The publication claims this is an important film for studios as it is meant to mark the film industry's return to a theatrical-centric economy.

While most of the big-budget superstar-produced movies have recently been released with streaming services in mind, this time around Universal has refused to consider anything other than a theatrical release.
