After classifying the Moselle as a zone at maximum risk, Germany decided to strengthen border control, in order to limit the spread of the virus and especially the variants.

A PCR or antigen test of less than 48 hours will be mandatory to enter Germany.

A restrictive measure that does not delight cross-border workers who travel daily to the neighboring country to work.
