According to Sumida Ward, an infection with the new coronavirus was confirmed when a resident was inspected for fever in February at the nursing care facility "Roken Sumida Akikoen" in the ward.



After that, when all residents and staff were inspected, infections were found one after another, and the total number of infected people reached 47 by February 28.



The ward states that a group of infected people = a cluster has occurred in the facility.



Most of the infected people are asymptomatic, and no one has severe symptoms when the infection is known, but all the elderly residents were hospitalized by February 28th.



At this facility, we continue to care for non-infected residents, and the long-term care facilities at the attached outpatient clinic are closed from February 23.
