emerged as the winner on Sunday night of the Golden Globes which also distinguished a large number of black artists, including the late Chadwick Boseman, in major categories after being sharply criticized this week over the lack of a black juror within the organization.

, a hymn to the glory of modern hippies crisscrossing the United States in their vans, won in the flagship category of best dramatic film while its director, Chinese Chloé Zhao, 38, became the second woman in the film. history of the Golden Globes to be a winner in this category, after Barbra Streisand in 1984.
