The dismissal of the Jordanian Ministers of Justice and the Interior for attending a dinner that gathered more than twenty people!

Today, Sunday, Jordanian Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh asked Interior Minister Samir Al-Mobaideen and Justice Bassam Al-Talhouni to submit their resignations, and informed sources stated that this came as the two ministers participated in a dinner table where the number of attendees exceeded the number specified under defense orders, to limit the spread of the Corona virus, which is as a limit Maximum twenty persons.

For his part, the resigned Minister of Justice, Bassam Al-Talhouni, commented that the dinner invitation for which he submitted his resignation did not exceed 9 people.

Talhouni confirmed that "he did not violate the defense order, as there were no more than 9 people at the table, which included doctors and university professors."

The resigned Interior Minister had himself tightened the penalties for violating the decisions, only two days before his dismissal.

He indicated harsh penalties for those caught violating "defense orders".
