A resumption of discussions on the 2015 agreement not on the agenda for Iran.

Tehran said on Sunday February 28 that it did not consider the time "appropriate" for an informal meeting on the subject, as has been proposed by the European players in the file and including the United States.

"Given the recent positions and actions of the United States and the three European countries (France, United Kingdom, Germany, Editor's note), (Iran) does not consider the appropriate time to hold the informal meeting proposed by the European coordinator "of the deal, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said in a statement.

In a joint statement released last Tuesday, France, Germany and the United Kingdom said Tehran must fully cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and cancel measures that reduce transparency on its program nuclear.

The three European signatories ("E3") of the 2015 agreement on the Iranian nuclear program deplore Iran's decision to suspend the additional protocol and the transparency measures provided for in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
