The Lantern Festival is approaching, and the otter triplets and mother otters in Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park had a special "Lantern Festival" to celebrate the traditional festival together.
According to reports, the bait that otters usually eat is mainly chicken and shrimp. The special "Lanxiao" made for them this time is also composed of chicken and shrimp.
The nurses cut 400g of chicken and 100g of shrimp into fillings and knead them into a ball to make about 10 "Lanxiao", each otter can eat 2 to 3 per meal.
It is understood that these three Asian small-clawed otters were born in the sea animal exploration hall in the park in 2019, and they are also the first triplets of otters in East China.
In order to celebrate the arrival of the Lantern Festival, the nurses prepared a special "Lanxiao" meal for the otter triplets, hoping that they would be "reunited, healthy and safe" in the new year.
