slams like a slap in the face.

His strong words, often raw, stand like fingers of honor in the middle of the page.

It is at the heart of the mechanics, of the making of violence that we take you today through the fate of a woman.

A forty-something, a literature teacher who has given a lot for her students - especially those from a working-class background like her - and who meets violence on a sidewalk in front of her school.

The incident could have been more serious, but it is not the first time.

And from the traumatic incident, an investigation will be born.

An investigation on oneself and on the origin of violence, which also questions the sizes and the limits of the republican school and of the social elevator.

“The finger”, by Dalie Farah has been published by Grasset editions.

Report

:

With a mix of Caribbean sounds, Afro-Brazilian and indigenous music, the traditional music of the Pará region, in the Brazilian Amazon, is extremely rich.

Both a style of music and dance, this genre has also adapted to more contemporary sounds, including the electric guitar for example.
