Sales in the culture, entertainment and leisure industry fell by 17 percent in 2020, which corresponds to SEK 13 billion.

Among the biggest losers are amusement and theme parks, which lost 80 percent of sales.

- The number of employed fell from 57,400 to 51,500. This corresponds to a decrease of about 10 percent, says Daniel Lennartsson, statistician at Statistics Sweden in a press release.

In cultural activities, such as theaters and concert halls, sales fell by 32 percent, which corresponds to approximately SEK 6.2 billion.
