Mohamed Bazoum was given the winner of the presidential election in Niger with 55.75% of the vote according to the provisional results provided by the CENI.

"An electoral hold-up" denounces the opposition, whose candidate Mahamane Ousmane also claims victory with 50.3% of the vote.
