  • To break into TikTok, Léane only needed a false manipulation (and national confinement).

  • The 17-year-old, who shares videos in which she enjoys playing back and playing roles, has nearly a million subscribers on the Chinese social network.

  • "I want to show that through my" influence ", I can look good to people," she says in the second issue of the interview

Everybody makes mistakes.

You can take the wrong direction on the road, you can dial the wrong phone number, and you can also accidentally post a video on TikTok and end up with close to a million subscribers a year later.

We agree, it's rarer but it's a true story.

That of Léane, aged 17, a high school student who finds herself propelled to the rank of media personality by chance.

“I got out of the shower, I was in my pajamas.

I wanted to make a video and instead of putting it in "close friends", I put it in public, "she simply tells

When she wakes up the next morning, her clip has been viewed hundreds of times.

Encouraged by her friends, Léane publishes more content over time and quickly counts her followers by the thousands.

In two months, 10,000 people subscribed to his profile.

An increase of 400,000 subscribers in two months

But it was the confinement that changed everything in his relationship with social networks.

"I went from 15,000 to 400,000 subscribers," she explains with a look still astonished.

Alone in her room, the teenager did not have to endure the remarks of the other students of her high school.

"My friends urged me to continue but there were inevitably criticisms: 'it sucks what you do, it is useless, you ridicule yourself" ".

Far from her comrades during confinement, Léane returned to her school, proud of the positive comments she had been able to read for two months: "once we left the confinement, people were in" my God, everything you won… "Right away, it changed mentalities.

"

"In one year, my life has changed completely"

When you're 17, it's impossible to miss an essential step, namely telling your parents that you are popular on the Net.

Approaching the symbolic bar of 100,000 followers, Léane decided to talk to them about it, whom she describes as "anti-networks".

“Today, they really support me in what I do, especially my father, he's the one who manages all the bills,” she says.

Because in addition to regularly posting content on TikTok, the videographer also promotes certain brands, especially on Instagram.

“I never thought I could collaborate with them, for me it's huge what is happening.

I don't realize at all.

In one year, my life has changed completely.

It makes me really weird, ”she marvels.

However, Léane does not intend to become a woman-sandwich and prefers to choose her fights.

In a video posted on her TikTok account at the beginning of February, she explains that she does not want to reproduce a challenge because she is against the idea of showing her buttocks permanently to gain popularity.

“It encourages the youngest to do the same.

There are some who are eight, nine or ten years old.

I want to show that with my 'influence' I can make people look good and not tell them to 'show your body to break through' ”.

This is a difficult challenge to overcome but which could find an echo on TikTok.
