Innovation in Islam

Dr..

Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Haddad

Our Islamic law is a renewed law in its mechanisms, fixed in its curriculum and texts, rooted in its rules and references, living in the fifteenth century as it was revealed as it lived in its first century in terms of stability and renewal, and among the factors of its stability is the renewal of its intellectual activity in every time and place that requires that. Its eternal days are confined to one thought or one situation.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, opened up to his companions freedom in understanding the text and thinking about its significance.

So that they deal with its immortal texts according to the indications that the language tolerates, and not inconsistent with the ruling texts and the general foundations of legislation, so strive hard to understand the text, and devise what their time and place need, which makes them in the glorious love of the Sharia, so the Companions, may God be pleased with them, invented grammar as the first intellectual innovation.

In the craft industry, they invented the manufacture of tanks and used them in the siege of Taif in the year eight of the Hijra, and the followers of the followers invented the science of jurisprudence that controls the induction and jurisprudential reasoning, and the science of wound and modification with which the novel is preserved, and with it they preserved the texts of the Prophet’s Sunnah from the intruder. Before them, the people of one of the monotheistic religions or positivism did not emulate it until today, and they invented algebra, optics, aeronautics and so on in about a thousand innovations, as well as special blogs such as Salim al-Husseini’s useful blog entitled “A thousand inventions and inventions”. Scientific inventions such as medicine, pharmacy, astronomy, mathematics, and other things that Arab and Muslim scholars invented in different eras, and explain in it how Muslims lived their golden age, how they designed their cities and developed the mechanisms of agriculture and architecture, and how the market conditions and financial dealings were, as well as educational facilities such as universities and schools, in addition To the arts of architecture and music .. To other things that are not hidden from the educated, whose traces are still witnessed in Andalusia and other cities.

Many medical innovations, engineering, sociology, machine science, astronomy and various arts known today owe to the innovations of the first Muslims that were then developed in the hands of non-Muslims in the majority, and the intellectual right of the first Arab and Muslim inventors was confiscated, and we do not care about that, as Islam calls for the benefit of humanity in terms of benefit.

Because such knowledge is a human right, so whoever guides any of it, Islam welcomes and honors it.

Rather, what is important is that Arabs and Muslims do not stop the march of innovation and create the future, and do not turn to others to provide them with what their hands have produced, and do not remain dependent on the past that is truly proud of it. Rather, their slogan should be what the one said and the best of saying:

We are not, even if we are people of judgment / day on accounts, we trust

We build as our firsts / adopt and do as they did

And here is the United Arab Emirates, with the determination of its Amjad sheikhs, and its leapfrog government;

It takes serious steps in innovation, creating the future, and anticipating the best and most complete. When you renewed the approach of Islam in the pursuit of innovation and was keen on it, and set aside the obstacles;

It reached the first ambitions to penetrate space until it surpassed the surface of the moon, and set its leap feet on Mars promising in its environmental composition for all humanity, in addition to the primary and transformative industry, in addition to making innovation and future foresight a government goal that harnessed the necessary capabilities for industrial and technical progress, and civilized development And the legislative, and this is what each member of the people should be concerned with, Arabs, non-Arabs, Muslims and non-Muslims.

Because civil life requires people to keep pace with it in order to bring about the good and ward off the harmful, so any people or state that did not do that will remain at the back of the knee, and nothing will reach it that will benefit it from what other progress and development have, and then it will bite the fingers of remorse, not when regret, at a time People will have prevailed and reached the place they wanted.

Islam calls for work, diligence and perseverance, as reported on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, may God be pleased with him: “Guess for your life as if you are ever living, and work for your hereafter as if you die tomorrow.”

And on the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, may God be pleased with him, about that.

This is the approach of Islam, O Muslims, do not neglect and do not leave it to others, for you have the competencies and capabilities that may not exist for others.
