Died Swiss poet and translator Philippe Jacotte

Jacotte died on February 24 at his home in Grignan (Drome department) in the south of France.

In 2003, Jacotte received the Goncourt Prize.

He translated into French, in particular, the works of Osip Mandelstam.

In mid-February, the Spanish poet Joan Marguerite died.
