A fire broke out in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, and two bodies were found.

The police are confirming that it was the parent and child who died because they could not contact the mother in their 70s and the son in their 50s who live in this house.

Around 0:30 am on the 25th, a person living in the neighborhood reported to the fire department that a fire was coming out of the house of Mr. Tsugiko Nagase (78) in Nishiyama-cho, Ishinomaki City.



Seven fire trucks and other vehicles went out to extinguish the fire, and the fire was extinguished about an hour later, but one wooden one-story house was completely burned down, and two bodies were found in the burnt remains.



According to the police, Mr. Nagase and his son, Kenichi (50), an office worker, live in this house, and they have lost contact with them after the fire.



Police are investigating the cause of the fire while confirming that it was the parent and child who died.



The site is a residential area about 1 km southwest of JR Ishinomaki Station.
