On February 23, the construction staff carried out the rail laying operation in the tunnel of Beishenshu Station in the southern section of Beijing Metro Line 17.

Beijing Metro Line 17 is a transportation trunk line that runs through the north-south direction of the central city. Construction started in 2016. The line is 49.9 kilometers long and has 21 stations, all of which are underground.

After the full line is opened to traffic, the four districts of Changping, Chaoyang, Dongcheng, and Tongzhou will be connected in series, and the whole journey can be completed in 56 minutes at the fastest.

Among them, the southern section runs from Shilihe Station in Chaoyang District to South Station in Yizhuang Zhanqian District, Tongzhou District, with a total of 7 stations.
