Elderly people often find it difficult to effectively manage and dispose of their own property due to their physical condition and ability to move. In this case, children should not infringe on their parents’ property rights by stealing, defrauding, or forcing them.

When hearing such cases of infringement of the rights and interests of the elderly, the people's courts shall fully ascertain the true wishes of the elderly, insist on protecting the legal rights and interests of the elderly, and make judgments in accordance with the principle of protecting the legal property rights and interests of the elderly, and effectively settle disputes.
