According to the monitoring of the express big data platform of the State Post Bureau, during the Spring Festival (February 11-17), the postal express industry across the country collected and delivered 660 million parcels, an increase of 260% year-on-year.

The China Youth Daily Social Survey Center and the Social Survey Center (wenjuan.com) conducted a survey of 2016 respondents, showing that 94.5% of the on-site New Year’s Satisfied with the service, 87.8% of the local Chinese New Year interviewees said that they can still feel the taste of the new year by replacing the flow of people with the transportation of goods.

  Among the respondents, 29.4% were from first-tier cities, 40.4% from second-tier cities, 18.8% from third- and fourth-tier cities, 8.0% from urban or county towns, and 3.4% from rural areas.

Respondents who celebrated Chinese New Year in situ accounted for 84.8%.

  Statistics show that daily necessities (58.6%) and holiday gifts (57.9%) are the main items that respondents buy online during the Spring Festival. Others include: seasonal fruits and vegetables (41.1%), specialty products (38.9%), and electronic equipment (25.6%) And anti-epidemic materials (21.2%).

  Wang Ni (pseudonym), who celebrated the Chinese New Year on the spot in Guangzhou, was born in Fujian. After her parents learned that she could not go home for the New Year, they sent her a lot of New Year’s goods.   In the survey, 82.1% of the respondents said that the New Year’s goods transportation replaces the movement of people and still makes them feel the taste of the year.

  In the survey, 93.3% of the respondents were satisfied with the express delivery service during the Spring Festival this year, and 31.8% of them were very satisfied.

Interactive analysis found that respondents in first-tier cities and second-tier cities were more satisfied with 94.4% and 94.6%, respectively, followed by third- and fourth-tier cities (92.9%). Respondents in towns, counties and rural areas were relatively more satisfied Low, 86.4% and 85.5% respectively.

  Lu Ming felt that many people celebrated the New Year on the spot during the Spring Festival this year, and the express delivery industry also launched non-closing services, but all aspects of logistics and transportation need to be coordinated, "especially in some counties, to better ensure the normal delivery of express delivery. Shipping is still very important."

  For express delivery services during the holiday season, 60.7% of the respondents hope that the transportation and delivery links can be effectively connected to increase the speed, 57.8% of the respondents look forward to solving the "last mile" service, and 47.6% of the respondents suggest adding intelligent delivery transportation System, 46.5% of the respondents want to provide after-sales and customer service for express delivery, and 27.5% want to protect the rights and interests of express employees.
