Kenya Barris and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson will collaborate on a new project for Netflix.
According to Deadline, the two producers are developing an adaptation of
The 50th Law
, the book written by the rapper and Robert Greene, and which chronicles the star's beginnings, long before the release of his first album,
Get Rich of Die Tryin. '

The publication states that the series will be told from a 50 Cent perspective, with "anecdotes and lessons from Abraham Lincoln, Sun Tsu, Socrates, Napoleon, Malcolm X and James Baldwin."
Kenya Barris and Hale Rothstein, who are currently producing the Netflix series

, will write the pilot and executive producers, alongside the
Candy Shop performer
