“Love Jihad” is an expression that has flourished in India for ten years.

It describes a practice denounced by Hindu nationalists, although imaginary.

Muslim men would try to marry Hindu women to convert them to Islam and have Muslim children.

Some states ruled by the BJP, India's ruling nationalist party, are passing laws to combat this imaginary "Love Jihad".

Result: mixed couples are harassed even more than before.
