In front of the traditional event "Shuni-e" at Todaiji Temple, which announces the arrival of spring to the ancient city of Nara, a "company visit" was held in which the monks visited the Great Buddha Hall in the precincts and prayed for their safety.

The "Shuni-e" at Todaiji Nigatsudo, also known as "Omizutori," is a memorial service for monks called "Kenkoushu" who spend about a month in a training camp to pray for the safety of the country. It is a traditional event, and since the Nara period, it has never stopped celebrating 1270 times.



On the 21st, a "company visit" was held to pray for the safety of the line, and around 1 pm, 11 monks left the inn with Fumon Sagawa as the head.



The monks wearing masks walked in a row, hoping for a safe trip around the Great Buddha Hall and Nigatsudo.



The "Shuni-e" has entered a preparatory period called "Korobekka" to purify the mind and body from the 20th, but the monks have been working on the new coronavirus two weeks ago this month 6 I have been living in isolation since the day.
