Gunma Prefecture announced on the 20th that it was confirmed that nine new people in the prefecture were infected with the new coronavirus.
It is the first time in about three months since November 23, last year that the number of newly infected people in the prefecture has fallen below 10.
The number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is now 4362, of which 83 have died.
