The Shandong Provincial Fire Rescue Corps issued a notice on its official Weibo that a fire broke out in the Fukang Cake House in Lijin Community, Yucheng City on February 16. After on-site inspection, investigation, and video analysis, it was determined The fire started at the wall-mounted shrine above the west column of the north gate on the first floor of the Fukang Cake Shop. The cause of the fire was that the butter bucket candle ignited the shrine and surrounding combustible materials.
On February 16, a fire broke out in the Fukang Cake House in Lijin Community, Yucheng City. After the Dezhou Fire Rescue Detachment put out the fire with all-out efforts, 8 trapped people were rescued successively, of which 7 died and 1 survived.
