Personally, I have always liked Vladimir Zelensky.

I think, like many others.

Together with everyone else, I spent some time over his miniatures in Quarter 95.

But I just couldn't understand how Igor Kolomoisky endures such a merciless mockery of himself?

He is one of the owners of the 1 + 1 channel, which was dominated by harmful humorists!

Blimey!

This is freedom of speech!

The film "Servant of the People" seemed like a daring dream of a just president.

A fairy tale, a fantasy, but so understandable and achievable.

It seemed: a little more - and cinematic dreams will become a reality.

And it seems to have become.

The President stepped from the screen into life and ...

As the great Russian, Pole and Ukrainian by blood Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol wrote: "And bring Lyapkin-Tyapkin here!"

And now the head of state is putting into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the application of sanctions against three TV channels - 112 Ukraine, ZIK and NEWSONE.

They are locked.

Or, to put it simply, closed: “Tyap it according to Lyapkin!

His blooper after Tyapkin! "

And now the SBU is checking the very channel "1 + 1", which was once a bulwark of freedom, allowed Vladimir Zelensky and his comrades unthinkable tricks and actually made him president.

The SBU puts the question bluntly: “Who are the beneficiaries, except (forgive the pun) the once ridiculed Beni?

What is the degree of their loyalty to Ukraine? "

I’m even afraid to imagine what Igor Kolomoisky is experiencing now, with what words he scolds himself for having supported a talented (albeit overly nimble) lad.

I will not go into a detailed analysis of all the pros and cons of these decisions by Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky.

The parties' arguments have long been voiced.

The main reason is also.

In simple terms, there is a struggle against the "dominance of propaganda from Russia", which has been declared an aggressor and an enemy.

Is it okay that these statements are unfounded, not supported by either evidence or legal procedures?

At the same time, the main characters are not just citizens of Ukraine, but also political and business heavyweights who play an important role in the life of the state.

In this situation, I am touched by the always smug, shining with his own importance Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon, who with an important air declares that during World War II the Germans would hardly have allowed Soviet radio to broadcast on their territory.

In the end, the listener and the viewer will figure out who is right and who is wrong, where there is freedom of speech, and where it is being stifled in the bud.

Fortunately, there is a great and terrible Internet open to everyone.

Open for now.

The National Council of Ukraine for Television and Radio Broadcasting threatens to turn into a body that vigilantly monitors all media in the country.

The new bill, pushed by the Servant of the People party, allows him to quickly block unwanted sites.

I very much hope that our lawmakers will not take such a dubious path.

In general, of course, it is not easy for Vladimir Alexandrovich now.

Get off the stage so abruptly into a tangled tangle of political and geopolitical relationships, intrigues and conflicts of interest!

Ukraine is not a foreign country for me.

The closest relatives live in Odessa.

There are many friends and acquaintances in Kiev.

I'm not even talking about the fact that I served here in the ranks of the Soviet army.

It was a construction battalion.

We built houses all over this beautiful, fragrant and generous city for open human relations.

In our unit there were Armenians, Moldovans, Uzbeks, Georgians and, of course, Ukrainians.

And never any conflicts on ethnic grounds.

Then very close friends of my parents still lived in Kiev.

Elderly childless couple.

I was welcomed and treated kindly.

When the time came to go home, they cried, as if they were seeing off their son.

I returned a month later.

However, mainly not because of them.

And because of the first great love, which never managed to develop into a long relationship.

She wanted me to move to Kiev, I called her to Moscow.

On that, in the end, and parted.

Later, when I came to Kiev on various journalistic matters, I learned that our unit was located in a unique historical place.

Namely, in the Navodnitskaya tower, built in 1833-1839, one of the structures of the Kiev fortress and the largest earthen fortification in Europe.

As far as I know, the self-defense headquarters of the "Maidan" and the volunteer center are still located in the dilapidated building.

Enthusiasts considered the Navodnitskaya Tower as an excellent location for arranging a museum and tourist public center there.

However, on the site of this picturesque ruin, located right next to the building of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine, in the very heart of the capital, in Pechersk, they plan to build another high-rise building.

And, in all likelihood, someone's economic interest will still prevail over the desire to preserve historical memory.

Everything is like in big politics ...

I wonder if Vladimir Zelensky will take the stage after he ceases to be president?

And can he afford to play a parody of himself?
