The inspection in Hiroshima Prefecture targets about 6,000 residents in Naka Ward, Hiroshima City, and about 2,000 people working in Naka Ward. There are two spaces, one is the space where people who walk to the venue are inspected.



The visitors filled out a questionnaire about their physical condition, and then put saliva in the container they received and submitted it.



A 69-year-old man who was tested said, "I have no symptoms, but I took it just in case. The test flow was smooth."

To prevent congestion at the inspection site, you can receive inspection kits such as containers and questionnaires in advance at 16 pharmacies in Naka-ku, Hiroshima City.



Of these, at the pharmacy in Funairihonmachi, Naka-ku, the residents who received the test kit need to take the precautions and samples when putting saliva into the container, which will be the sample from the person in charge of the pharmacy. I was taught.



A 67-year-old man said, "Because I work with customers, I decided to take an inspection. I was given a detailed explanation, so I can take it with confidence."



As a general rule, the test uses a method called the "pool method" in which multiple samples are mixed and analyzed.



Initially, Hiroshima Prefecture planned to conduct a large-scale PCR test on about 700,000 people, but since the infection situation in Hiroshima city improved, the test was put on hold, and the purpose of this test is sudden infection. The purpose is to confirm a system that can respond quickly in preparation for expansion.
