Last May, Patrick and Isabelle Balkany were sentenced on appeal to five and four years respectively in prison for laundering tax fraud, without immediate imprisonment because of their state of health.
They lodged an appeal against this latest conviction.
The couple will soon be placed under an electronic bracelet in their property in Giverny (Eure) in order to serve their sentence according to the Evreux prosecutor's office, this Friday.
