Photography: Vivian Maier's self-portraits exhibited at Les Douches la Galerie

The “Self Portraits” exhibition dedicated to Vivian Maier (1926 - 2009) at Les Douches la Galerie is extended until February 27, in Paris.

The opportunity to discover some of the works of this amateur photographer, housekeeper and nanny for almost 40 years, who devoted her free time to the 8th art.

Produced between 1953 and the 1970s, the photos once again testify to his eye for reflections, his great sense of composition and more generally, the richness of his work discovered and recognized after his death in 2009. Here are some images taken by this “selfie” pioneer.
