Several attacks severely affected the functioning of hospitals in Dax and Villefranche-sur-Saône.

Local communities have also been affected since last year and businesses have been targeted with an impact sometimes exceeding several weeks.

Faced with the proliferation of these cyberattacks, Emmanuel Macron presents this Thursday the French strategy in terms of cybersecurity.

The government will invest an additional billion euros to raise the general level of protection and accelerate the development of the French industrial sector in this strategic area.
