Fukushima Prefecture announced on the 18th that it was confirmed that 12 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
Six new cases were confirmed in Ishikawa-cho, two in Aizuwakamatsu, and one in Aizubange, Nishigo, Tamakawa, and Hirata.
Infections have been confirmed in the prefecture for 79 consecutive days, and the cumulative number of infected people has reached 1861.
