The police said that Tactical Unit officers intercepted the man involved in the case while patrolling the New Territories today. The National Security Office of the police has taken over the investigation and the arrested man is being detained for investigation.
The police also stated that since the "Hong Kong National Security Act" came into effect, as of today, a total of 99 people have been arrested for engaging in acts and activities that endanger national security.
