Infection has been confirmed for the first time in Okayama Prefecture.

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, a mutant virus that has spread in the United Kingdom and Brazil has been detected in 13 men and women nationwide.



The breakdown of residences is 6 in Niigata, 1 in Tokyo, 1 in Saitama, 1 in Hyogo, 1 in Yamanashi, and 2 in Kanagawa, and 2 in Okayama.



This is the first time that a mutant virus infection has been confirmed in Okayama Prefecture other than quarantine inspection.

Neither of them has stayed abroad, and their gender and age have not been announced.



In addition, 5 out of 6 people in Niigata Prefecture are related to facilities where infected people have already been confirmed.



As a result, a total of 164 people, including airport quarantine, have been confirmed to be infected with the mutant virus in Japan.
