Last month, the Yokohama District Public Prosecutor's Office did not prosecute a 63-year-old man who was arrested for cutting a police officer in a condominium in Yokohama.

When he was arrested, a police officer fired a pistol and hit the man's leg, but there was nothing wrong with his life.

A 63-year-old man in Kohoku Ward, Yokohama, was arrested on the 26th of last month on suspicion of obstructing the execution of public affairs, including slashing a police officer with a kitchen knife at an apartment in the city.



When he was arrested, a responding police officer fired a pistol and hit the man's leg, but there was nothing wrong with his life.



The Yokohama District Public Prosecutor's Office has filed no charges against this man on the 15th.



The prosecution has not disclosed the reason for the non-indictment.
