• Dubai: the land of opulence where tourists flock

  • Record: the tallest building in the world, designed by Calatrava in Dubai

A

jungle in the middle of the desert

in express time.

Created by Lázaro Rosa-Violán's interior design studio in just four weeks.

Amazónico

, the most international restaurant of the businessmen Marta Seco and Sandro Silva, lands at the Riyadh Oasis luxury complex in a

pop-up

format

, that is, for a limited time, because it can only be enjoyed until March.

"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a country to discover,

wonderful with an exciting future," says the hotelier and former footballer behind Grupo Paraguas, which already has headquarters of the fashion store in Madrid, where the project originated, two branches of Amazon in London and Dubai and plans to open in Doha and Las Vegas.

This winter oasis in the middle of the dunes will delight wealthy foodies, as it will share headquarters with Nammos and Zuma, places of excellent gastronomic experiences.

"This project seemed very ambitious and differential to us in an impressive place.

We want Amazónico to reach all parts of the world

", describe Sandro Silva (Brasilia, March 27, 1972) and Marta Seco (Oviedo, July 2, 1976), that before the pandemic they employed .100 people and seated one million diners a year at their tables, as they told the magazine of the Unity Editorial

Out of Series group

when they received their 2020 Character of the Year Award in the Gastronomy category .

The Amazonian restaurant located in the luxury complex Riyadh Oasis.

Despite the pandemic, Grupo Paraguas has eight restaurants in Madrid (El Paraguas, Ten con Ten, Ultramarinos Quintín, Amazónico with its jazz club, Numa Pompilio, Aarde and Origen).

"It makes us see that anywhere in the world

people can meet and understand each other in the same language

, that of meeting, laughing and having fun vibrating together in the same frequency, the

Amazon frequency

".

Ephemeral local

It is impressive how the defendant interior designer Rosa-Violán has devised this kind of exoticism in the desert and golden Riyadh, immersed in the new hotel located between

Al-Ammariyah and Diriyah

, the desert area on the outskirts of the city.

"It is a restaurant with

a great identity and its own personality that we believe can fit into any environment

. The reception has been really good!", These successful entrepreneurs who have managed to gain fame and success thanks to a jungle decoration and exotic food with Latin American touches.

Among the most popular dishes in Amazónico are its grilled meat and fish.

Described as

"an immersive and sensory journey,"

the experience encompasses an ensemble dotted with lush foliage and natural materials, as well as elegant textiles in tune with this jungle teeming with figured animals (even illustrated on the plates).

The interior structure is divided into several spaces with a dining room, lounge, sushi bar and an outdoor terrace perfect for watching the sunset washed down by cocktails to the rhythm of a DJ.

Glamorous Camps

The peculiarity of this luxury hotel is that it is not possible to stay overnight.

The luxury entertainment project in the Kingdom's desert hinterland runs until April 12, 2021. Riyadh Oasis is described as

"a custom-built 5-star winter sanctuary in the heart of the beautiful golden desert landscapes of Riyadh ".

The concept is based on offering entertainment experiences where visitors can explore, eat, play, celebrate and camp with their closest and loved ones (up to eight people).
