A room in a house in Nakanoto Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, on the early morning of the 15th, when a former deputy mayor man and his mother, who had announced their candidacy for the mayoral election next month, were found dead with blood bleeding from their necks. According to an interview with an investigative official, it was found that a sword with blood stains, which seems to be a weapon, had been confiscated.


There is no evidence that the room has been damaged or invaded from the outside, and police are investigating the situation in detail.

After midnight on the 15th, two people, Yasuo Hirose (65) and his mother Yoshie (93), who live in this house in Takebe, Nakanoto-cho, were found to have fallen with blood bleeding from their necks. He was taken to the hospital but died.



Mr. Hirose was the deputy mayor of Nakanoto until last month, and announced his candidacy for the Nakanoto mayoral election to be held next month.



According to police, the two had collapsed in a room on the first floor that their mother, Yoshie, usually uses as a bedroom, but it was investigated that a kitchen knife with blood stains, which seems to be a weapon, had been seized from this room. Former Deputy Mayor Hirose lived with his wife and Yoshie and ate with his daughters and grandchildren who visited at around 6:30 pm on the 14th, but after that, they disappeared and they searched for them. By the way, it was found lying down in Mr. Yoshie's room.
