Following the approval of the new coronavirus vaccine for the first time in Japan, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will open a free call center on the 15th to respond to inoculation consultations.

The new coronavirus vaccine, developed by American pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, will be officially approved on the 14th and will be given to healthcare professionals in advance from the middle of this week.

In response to this, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will set up a dedicated call center from the 15th.

It means that we will respond to various consultations and inquiries free of charge, such as basic information on vaccines that can be vaccinated, people who are eligible for priority vaccination, and the type and frequency of expected side reactions.

The phone number is 0120 (761) 770, which is accepted from 9 am to 9 pm, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare says, "We will strive to provide accurate information so that people who have questions about vaccines can use it."
