1,000,485 people have already received in Spain the second dose that provides immunity against the coronavirus, although a few days have passed since the second injection for that immunity to be effective.

The figure appears in the daily report provided by Health on the vaccination campaign, which began on December 27.

The data for this Friday show that

the ministry has distributed 2,914,755 doses among the communities

, of which 2,423,045 (83.1%) have already been injected.

The vast majority of the doses received and distributed (2,528,955 units) correspond to the Pfizer / NBioTech formula, the first that was approved by the European Medicines Agency.

The Health statistics break down the distribution of vaccines by communities.

In addition to Ceuta (52.7%) and Melilla (67%), only the Basque Country (72.2%), Andalusia (79.1%) and Catalonia (79.5%) have administered less than 80% of the doses they have received.
