The municipal crèche les Libellules, road from Turin to Nice, was evacuated this Friday noon because of an electric meter fire.
At around 1:15 p.m., twenty-four firefighters were engaged with six fire apparatus.
Once there, they quickly brought the fire under control with the support of Enedis services.
As a precautionary measure, the 70 children and 15 supervisors present in the establishment were evacuated during the intervention.
The only damage from the fire concerned the meter which is currently being repaired to re-supply the nursery.
Staff and children were able to return to the premises.
