Thirty deputies of all stripes, in the wake of the Insoumise deputy Mathilde Panot, gave their support to the recognition of the neologism "parange", contraction of "parents" and "angel", claimed by some bereaved parents.

A word that is already circulating

The deputy Mathilde Panot (Val-de-Marne) presented a parliamentary motion for a resolution to support these parents and encourage recognition of this word, intended for "women and men who have lost a child, whatever the age at the time of the death ”.

It is supported by around thirty parliamentarians from all sides, from both the opposition and the majority.
