The Cultural Council increases support for the literature - adds 23, 2 million

SEK 9.5 million goes to literature, purchase support for public and school libraries receives an increased budget of SEK 10 million, SEK 1.5 million goes to translations of Swedish literature and drama and cultural magazines receive SEK 2.2 million.

"We make these investments to continue to have quality, breadth and diversity in publishing and offerings," says Lotta Brilioth Biörnstad, unit manager for Literature and Libraries at the Swedish Arts Council, in a press release.
