The interpreter of the character of Cordelia Chase in these two fantastic series launched at the end of the 1990s evokes in particular the “passive aggressive” behavior of Josh Whedon, who threatened to fire her, treated her as “fat” while she was four months pregnant, made fun of her religious beliefs and instilled a competitive spirit among the actors.

Support from Sarah Michelle Gellar

“For almost two decades, I held my tongue and even found excuses for some things that still traumatize me,” writes Charisma Carpenter.

The actress has notably received the support of Sarah Michelle Gellar.

“While I'm proud that my name is associated with that of Buffy Summers, I don't want to be associated with that of Joss Whedon,” the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star said on Instagram.

“I support all victims of harassment and I am proud that they spoke up,” she added.

Last summer, Ray Fisher accused Joss Whedon of improper and abusive behavior on the set of

Justice League

, in which the actor played Cyborg.

“Bad working conditions” which were also denounced by the interpreter of Aquaman, Jason Momoa.
