and the opening of commercial areas at a third of the capacity from this Friday at 00:00.

The curfew is maintained at 10 pm, the

grouping of people in a maximum of six

the hotels will be able to occupy 50% and the space of their common areas is limited to 25%;

the open air markets will continue at a third of the capacity with a distance of 4 meters between stalls;

shops and businesses will also open to a third and the limitation of the size of the establishment disappears.

Good data

It was last Monday, January 18, when, given the advance of the coronavirus and the increase in new cases, the Executive of Emiliano García-Page decreed the most restrictive measures taken so far since the end of confinement after the first state of alarm of the month of March.

Thus, the curfew was advanced until 10 p.m., the perimeter closure of the 919 municipalities of the Autonomous Community was decreed and the blinds of the hotel and catering establishments have been kept down until this Thursday.

That decision was extended to ten days in the first instance and a second time last Friday. Since the implementation of the restrictions, the data has improved.

Fernández Sanz recalled that two weeks ago the

cumulative incidence

per 100,000 inhabitants exceeded 1,200 cases;

last week it dropped to 1,025;

and

today it is 644

, "the result of the measures and efforts of all the citizens of Castilla-La Mancha."

Cases will continue to drop

In addition, he predicts that cases will continue to decline, since the cumulative incidence at 7 days is only 194 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, below the national average, data for which he has taken breast.

"The taking of measures and ultimately the

restriction of the mobility of people has given the fruit we expected

, but nothing has ended here," he indicated.

There are still 220 ICUs occupied, more than 1,000 hospital beds.
