He was identified through CCTV footage, but police needed more than two years of investigation to locate him.

A 22-year-old young man was arrested on Wednesday for a case of degradation in two bank branches dating back to the end of January 2019, during a demonstration of "yellow vests" in Toulouse.

The damage was assessed at 40,000 euros on the two sites located in the city center, on the boulevards of Arcole and Lazare-Carnot.

Placed in custody, the suspect, already known to the police, admitted the facts.

He received a summons by minutes (CPPV) on Wednesday, which allows the public prosecutor to have a person tried in the next six months.
