Critics who expressed doubts that Germany could be constantly cooled to minus ten degrees in the coming months countered the Chancellor with her confidence.
"Germany is an industrialized country, we can do it," said Merkel, "in any case, it is much less complicated than getting enough vaccine."
The Bundeswehr has already announced its help.
