Aomori Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that a total of 40 people have been infected with the new coronavirus within the jurisdiction of Hirosaki Healthcare Center.
This is because a group of infected people = a cluster occurred at a medical institution in the jurisdiction, which is the highest number of infected people announced in the prefecture on a daily basis.
The cumulative total of people confirmed to be infected in Aomori Prefecture is 790, including those who have already recovered or died.
Aomori Prefecture also revealed that a woman in her 70s under the jurisdiction of Goshogawara Health Center, who had been treated for the new coronavirus, died on the 9th.
In Aomori prefecture, 14 people died after being infected with the new coronavirus.
