The director of Sciences Po, Frédéric Mion, presented his resignation this Tuesday in a letter to students and teachers.

He had been in difficulty for a few weeks by press reports according to which he had known since 2019 the charges of incest brought against Olivier Duhamel.

In the book

La Familia Grande

, published on January 7, Camille Kouchner accuses Olivier Duhamel, renowned and influential political scientist, former MEP and media regular, of having sexually assaulted his twin at the end of the 1980s.

After expressing his amazement at the revelation of the case, the director of Sciences Po, Frédéric Mion, admitted to Le

Monde that he

had been alerted in 2019 to the facts in question.

Olivier Duhamel was then president of the body which oversaw the Parisian Institute of Political Studies.

He then explained that he contacted a relative of Olivier Duhamel who would have certified that the rumors were unfounded.
