France has passed the symbolic bar of 80,000 deaths due to the Covid-19 epidemic.

In the last 24 hours, 724 deaths have been recorded in French hospitals as well as in nursing homes.

Between Monday and Tuesday, 439 Covid-19 patients died in hospital, according to the French public health agency, which also publishes data related to the evolution of the disease every evening.
