Tremble virus.

Unfortunately, we are still a long way from being done with the coronavirus epidemic.

Even if the vaccination campaign is progressing, we will have to resign ourselves to wearing protective masks for many more months.

So even if it means going masked, as much as with a truly effective product.

In a week's time, facial protection “made in France” will arrive on the market, which not only blocks pathogens, but eliminates them.

With the emergence of variants of the coronavirus, some models of protective masks have shown their limits.

Thus, the Scientific Council now advises against the use of homemade masks in favor of single-use surgical masks.

It is in this last field that the company Bioserenity has been able to innovate thanks to a partnership with researchers from the University of Lille, CNRS, Inserm and Lille University Hospital.

"Deactivate pathogens"

If the technical details of this new mask will not be presented for another week, we already know that the technology implanted in this mask, called Cidaltex, has the ability to "deactivate the pathogens [viruses and bacteria] present in the droplets and the finest particles of the respiration stream ”.

These disposable masks are available for caregivers in the FFP2 version and for the general public in a surgical mask version.

The lines of the manufacturing plant, located in Troyes, in Aube, are already running at full speed.

Bioserenity also assures that its product will be available from next week without however specifying the price.
