Two women in their 40s and 70s in Ashikita Town and one woman in their 90s in Kosa Town were confirmed to be infected.
This brings the total number of infected people in the prefecture to 3,385.
In addition, a total of two deaths were announced, including a man in his 40s in Mashiki Town and an elderly woman whose details were not disclosed without the consent of the bereaved family, bringing the death toll in the prefecture to 66.
