It's a series never broadcast on a "classic" channel, but which has totaled 215 million views for its first six seasons, only on the internet.

Skam is a

hit on the France Télévisions digital platform, especially among adolescents, who easily identify with the gang of high school students on the screen.

In season 7, currently broadcast, the writers decided to tackle a difficult theme: that of denial of pregnancy.

A carefully considered choice, according to the actress Lucie Fagedet and the collection director of the series, Déborah Hassoun, guests of Europe 1 Monday.

"All the more relevant for this target audience"

"This is a problem that we do not talk about much, while it is a concern among women," explains Déborah Hassoun.

“In most cases, these are not news items at all, they are things that happen to women of all backgrounds and ages. And the more we talk about it, the less it will happen. all the more relevant for this target audience. "

The screenwriters had the idea of ​​dealing with the issue of motherhood in very young women, but without further clarification.

Until the idea of ​​this subject comes to them, "a little taboo", recognizes Lucie Fagedet, interpreter of Tiffany, the heroine of this season 7. 

A season 8 already shot

To interpret this high school student, who learns that she was pregnant the day of her childbirth, the young actress "inquired a lot".

"I saw it as a challenge, I had never had a leading role of this magnitude," she smiles.

A first a priori successful, judging by the very positive feedback after the broadcast of the first four episodes.

"There is a real adhesion to the character and to the theme", according to Déborah Hassoun.

The series, composed of episodes "in real time" - each scene is broadcast on the day it takes place in the fiction, and the episode is not complete until Friday evening -, is not at its first theme societal focus: the first seasons, for example, shed light on the daily life of teenagers who are homosexual, suffering from a handicap or wondering about their faith.
