[Explanation] Colorful woolen hats, fluffy scarves, sweaters of different colors...It is hard to imagine that these exquisite woolen products are all made by a 91-year-old man.

Yang Jurong, who lives in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is affectionately referred to as "the woolen grandma."

Since 2016, Yang Jurong has woven hundreds of sweaters and hats by hand, and has given them to school students and elderly people living alone through non-profit organizations, in his own way, to send warmth to those in need.

Well, my abilities are not great. I'm not a scientist or a great invention (home), so I just knit some of this (to give it to others).

[Commentary] The reporter learned that Yang Jurong is a native of Shanghai. She was a soldier in her early years. She came to Inner Mongolia with her husband in 1978 and settled in Hohhot.

Although she is 91 years old now, Grandma Yang will live a fine life.

Wake up in the morning to interact with the feeding birds. In my spare time, I will trace Chinese paintings and use pen and ink to outline the relationship between flowers and birds.

[Explanation] Grandma Yang introduced that she learned to knit sweaters from her mother when she was 12 years old. Now people knit sweaters again in their twilight years because of the sudden death of their daughter. At first, Grandma Yang wanted to use sweaters to divert her attention to relieve her sadness.

But now the sweaters I knit are liked by many people, and Grandma Yang also has new motivation to knit sweaters.

Grandma Yang also bought a book on sweater knitting tutorials, the sika deer on the sweater, the small broken flowers on the brim... No matter how complicated, Grandma Yang can knit it exactly the same.

Not long ago, volunteers sent the sweaters and hats knitted by Grandma Yang to the school, and they were loved by the children.

I feel that I am very happy now. I say that the children are wearing my hat. I think they are very happy. They are happy. Of course I am also happy. In exchange for my happiness, I say that my mood is very beautiful.

[Commentary] Knowing the story of Grandma Yang, many people made a special trip to visit her and brought her various colors of wool.

Many volunteers also came to Grandma Yang's house spontaneously, and some volunteers even became Grandma Yang's "apprentices" and learned how to knit wool from Grandma Yang.

Grandma Yarn gives more positive meaning to how to face difficulties.

Because each of us can't avoid encountering difficulties, how do we solve them when we encounter difficulties?

When encountering difficulties, you help me, I help you, everyone helps everyone, so that our hearts are warmer and our world is stronger.

(Knitting wool) has gained so many benefits and saw so many kind-hearted people. These volunteers are all kind-hearted people.

I said that I just knit a little woolen job. They respect me so much and love me so much, so I'm very happy. I can't lose (the woolen job). I can't lose me (slowly) and continue.
