Know the dangers of eating pasta and white bread

It is known that eating white bread, refined grains and pasta affects weight gain, but a recent study has shown that it is also not linked to an increased risk of heart disease.

The study, published by the British newspaper "Daily Mail", indicated that the experts in the study have found that these foods are harmful to the heart.

Researchers from MacMaster University in Canada studied 137,000 people from all over the world.

They collected information about the participants' lifestyle and medical history at the start of the study, and used food questionnaires to assess their intake of refined grains, whole grains and white rice.

The study showed that individuals who were classified as consuming large amounts of refined grains, at least 350 grams per day, while those who got the lowest dose, ate less than 50 grams per day.

Deaths from cardiovascular disease, including heart attacks, stroke and heart failure were then tracked over an average of 9 years.

The results found that the highest intake was associated with a 33% greater risk of severe cardiovascular events compared to the lowest intake.

Eating larger amounts has also been associated with high blood pressure.

Although white rice is considered a refined grain, they did not find any association between intake and cardiovascular disease, and they suggest that some types of white rice may have a nutritional advantage over other refined grain products.

The researchers suggest encouraging a smaller intake of refined products while urging a higher intake of whole grains.
